Kamran Khan (born between 1943 – 1947; Died: in 1984) was an Indian writer, actor, and producer. He was famous for appearing in the films Watan Se Door in 1968, Ilzam in 1970, and Beqasoor in 1969. He is also in the talks as the father of Indian film directors Sajid Khan and Farah Khan.

Kamran Khan was a popular Indian actor, writer, and director who directed several films during his lifetime. He first appeared on television in 1953 in Mallika Soloni and after that, he made his appearance in various popular hits. In 1955, he acted in the film Roop Basant, Sakhi Lutera, and Jasoos. Kamran made his appearance in Gypsy in 1957 and Sair-E-Paristan in 1958. In the year 1960, his career was boosted when he acted in Captain India, Lalach, and Do Dost.
As we know he was also a director, Kamran directed various movies such as Panch Ratan in 1965, Watan Se Door in 1968, Ilzam in 1970, Banmanush in 1980, and many others. Khan also served as the writer in the films Watan Se Door and Ilzam. He acted in the movie Shaan in 1980 which plots around the two brothers going after the international mafia kingpin who murdered their officer brother. Later, they are joined by another man who wants revenge against the gangster.
In 1983, he appeared in one of the popular films Nastik starring Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini. This film includes a devout Hindu priest’s son who sees his dad murdered and his mom and sister burned alive. He becomes an atheist and promises to avenge his family’s killings at the hands of a corrupt landowner and smuggler. Khan appeared in the movie Baadal in 1985 which got a 6-star rating on IMDb.
Before his death, Kamran was 5 ft 11 in tall and weighed around 70 kg. He had brown and white hair and brown eyes. But Khan had a very bad habit of smoking and drinking alcohol which results in his death. For a very long period, he consumed these health-hazardous products and ended in death.
Kamran was a married man who previously tied the knot to Menaka Irani, an actress, and celebrity family member. Sometime after their wedding, on 9 January 1965, his daughter Farah Khan was born. Five years later, on 23 November 1970, he was blessed with a son whom he named Sajid and he is the younger brother of Farah.
